When we first met Fulton Bank in 2016, they had a history very similar to most established brick-and-mortar banks. They were well-loved by longtime customers who enjoyed the convenience and familiarity of going to one of Fulton’s 250 branches for their banking needs.

But, just like most banks, that story began to change as the children of those customers came along. You know the ones who were born with a smart phone in hand that seek an Amazon-like experience with any business they encounter.

Fulton knew it had to cater to the needs of this new generation of customers to compete with the ‘big bank’ brands who were starting to put a lot of focus and energy into digital – they had to get tech savvy, and fast.

Working with SilverTech, Fulton made a bold move to raise the digital bar so high that they won the highly coveted Sitecore Site of the Year award for best use of personalization. Together, we dove in headfirst to create an online experience that delivered an easy, tech-progressive, immersive online experience. SilverTech Wins ‘Best of Energy Website’ Award in Global 2021 WebAwards Competition

SilverTech Takes Home Two Web Awards Including 'Best of Industry Award' in the Energy Category and 'Government Standard of Excellence'

Manchester, NH, October 12, 2021– SilverTech announced its accomplishment of the Best of Industry website winner in the Energy category and Government Standard of Excellence award in the 2021 WebAwards. These awards were given for the website strategy, design and development provided by SilverTech for clients Nova Scotia Power and the State of New Hampshire Travel and Tourism Division for the VisitNH.gov website, respectively.  

SilverTech and Nova Scotia Power worked together to implement a large-scale digital transformation that would greatly improve customer experience. Nova Scotia Power’s website was entered into the Best Energy website category and judged on seven criteria; Design, ease of use, copywriting, interactivity, use of technology, innovation, and content. Each category is judged on a scale of 0 – 10 points. The website’s highest score is in the ease-of-use category where it scored 9/10. The judges described the http://nspower.ca website as a ‘well designed site, easy-to-navigate site with a wealth of information and added value for NSP customers.  

The State of New Hampshire Travel and Tourism website, https://visitnh.gov, also received high marks for design and usability. The website is the primary destination for all travelers who visit the state. The site gets over 200,000 visitors monthly.

The WebAwards is a competition hosted by the Web Marketing Association that allows websites to compete head-to-head within their industry for the title of The Best of Industry award. Websites can also compete against a standard of excellence to win the award of Outstanding Website and Standard of Excellence. The WebAwards were launched in 2014 with seventy industry categories including, but not limited to, Airline, Environmental, Consumer Goods, Non-Profit, Retail, and Travel. The awards are held annually.
