When we first met Fulton Bank in 2016, they had a history very similar to most established brick-and-mortar banks. They were well-loved by longtime customers who enjoyed the convenience and familiarity of going to one of Fulton’s 250 branches for their banking needs.

But, just like most banks, that story began to change as the children of those customers came along. You know the ones who were born with a smart phone in hand that seek an Amazon-like experience with any business they encounter.

Fulton knew it had to cater to the needs of this new generation of customers to compete with the ‘big bank’ brands who were starting to put a lot of focus and energy into digital – they had to get tech savvy, and fast.

SilverTech Acquires Bitwise Solutions; Expands Footprint to Indianapolis

Manchester, NH, March 20, 2018 – SilverTech, a local digital marketing agency, acquired Bitwise Solutions, an established website design and development firm in Indiana, expanding SilverTech’s physical footprint 1,000 miles to Indianapolis. “Bitwise was a strong choice for an addition to the SilverTech team,” said Nick Soggu, CEO of SilverTech. “Bitwise will add 24 years of website development experience and ten years as a Kentico Gold partner to our expertise.”

SilverTech will retain the current Bitwise Solutions staff, including the long-time ownership team, Ron Brumbarger and Scott Workman, in key leadership roles.

“We’re proud of the history that Bitwise has created over the past two decades in the greater Indianapolis community,” said Ron Brumbarger, former Owner & CEO of Bitwise Solutions. “The combination of the Bitwise Kentico experience with SilverTech’s expanded service offerings will be beneficial to our mutual client base and respective partners. I’m looking forward to joining the SilverTech crew and moving this vision forward.”

The quick growth of the Indianapolis tech-hub was an attractive benefit of the deal.

“This is a unique opportunity to grow our business and strategically expand into other tech-based markets across the country,” said Jeff McPherson, Chief Digital Officer at SilverTech, who is responsible for the organization’s growth strategy. “Like Manchester, Indianapolis and the surrounding communities are home to a growing number of tech companies, many of which are making their way onto Inc. 5000 lists. Salesforce specifically chose the area for its culture, affordable living, and accessibility for its expansion in 2017. We think it’s the right move and we’re looking forward to getting involved.”

This is the third acquisition in four years for Soggu and the SilverTech leadership team. In 2014, SilverTech acquired Poised Solutions, expanding its Salesforce development and marketing automation service offering. At the beginning of 2017, Soggu and a group of investors purchased Pannos Marketing, a specialized banking focused marketing agency located in Bedford, NH.

“Our goal is to create a collective of organizations that ultimately complement each other and enhance the services that are available to our customers,” said Soggu.

Soggu and the SilverTech leadership team are passionate about expanding the company’s involvement in the local communities. “It is a core belief of our team that great communities are created by the people in them,” said Soggu. “Our crew actively volunteers on several boards and non-profit organizations. It is an element of our culture that we actively cultivate.” In New England, Soggu is a strong advocate for technology and education, concentrating on organizations like STEAM Ahead, FIRST, SEE Science Center, and Tech Days in local schools.
